Why Phindyr exists

Built by a hunter who couldn’t book one.

Our founder Ozzy spent 25 years as a corporate lawyer and retail executive. He didn’t grow up hunting — he grew up vegetarian. When he finally booked a real guided hunt, Aoudad in West Texas with his oldest son and four friends, the hunt itself was everything he hoped for.

Booking it wasn’t. Finding honest reviews was basically impossible. There were no photos of the lodge. Paying for it meant paper checks, deposits, and chasing five friends for money.

Guides spend over 200 days a year in the field. They don’t have time to fix any of that. So he did.
